Update from the Toronto Moon
Dear subscribers, readers, and friends,
You haven’t heard from the Moon in almost half a year and paid subscriptions are currently on pause. After an extended summer break, I resumed writing on my personal blog. The pieces there are more data- and document-driven than what I normally have in mind for the Moon. I also didn’t want to turn the Moon into another personal blog but ran out of willing contributors. Any potential writer reading these lines, who does not yet have his/her own platform and sympathizes with the Moon’s general direction, please contact me.
I am not planning to drop this project any time soon but am contemplating different options for how to move ahead. Some platforms are resorting to cross-posting a selection of the many brilliant articles published every day by other new and emerging media sites. This would however require an editor with more time than I have right now. If you are interested in such a volunteer role, let’s discuss. Another idea was to use artificial “intelligence” tools for more efficient writing and publishing. An experimental post in this regard will be dropping into your inbox later today.
Otherwise, the Toronto Moon may just continue its slumber and rise occasionally with a burst of new articles… Kind regards, Claus R.
PS: On the occasion of the one-year anniversary of the Ottawa Freedom Convoy, take a look back at the Moon’s extensive coverage from Jan 30 to Feb 23, 2022!
